Unleashing the Splendor Within
Birthing the Master Storyteller through Life Writing and Rituals
For this presentation my objectives were to:
Explore storytelling as an effective therapeutic tool for all cultures;
Introduce the concepts of tale spinners versus Master Storyteller and the therapist as midwife;
Talk about my work in this area;
Look at the varying ways a story can be told (especially for ESL clients), and provide practical examples and exercises to help you in your own work as a counsellor.
I am happy to say this presentation was well attended and received by participants visiting from other provinces (and other countries) as well as local therapists.
