Girls Who Write<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this workshop, we talk about the basics of storytelling (plot, setting, memorable characters), then dive even more deeply into the finer points of creative writing, adding dialogue, humor, and your own unique voice to the page. We use personal experiences and some stimulating media as a jumping-off point to create stories that really get to the heart of what you have to say. We will even talk a bit about publishing.  Best of all, we\u2019ll have the kind of fun only a creative group of girls with pens and words can.<\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unleashing the Splendor – Girls Who Write<\/b><\/i> is a workshop that works best over two evenings or half-days. It is designed for tween and teen girls who want to write.<\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both courses address the power of words and story. Unleashing the Splendour<\/b>, geared for tweens and teen girls, helps the participant to realise the power of telling one\u2019s story, while The Masks We Wear<\/b> allows the participant to discover and break out of the words we have allowed others to place upon us, and show our true self while embracing the authenticity of others.
